HYDROBODIES is an ongoing community-engaged artistic and ethnographic collaboration with visionary artist Amanda Thackray around the waters of the Passaic River in New Jersey. This work begins in community and in collaboration with multiple organizations in the city of Newark, the Great Swamp Watershed Collective, the Hudson River Foundation and EPA. This art-science work began with an interest in the ways technologies and human-made materials are introduced into marine environments and then subsumed by water in bodies, both human and nonhuman.

Please see my Art and Design Portfolio for recent highlights from these community engaged art-science endeavors.
